Thanks for all who attended Swing The Fly’s Spey Nation 2026 event on the Salmon River, just outside Pulaski, New York. Great energy this year with the support and hard work from the whole community. Bringing in quite a few more rods and lines for folks to try, this year, was a huge hit. We hope to expand on this even more next year!
A big thank you to our core sponsors, Oswego County Tourism and Scientific Anglers. Additional crucial support for Spey Nation came from Douglaston Salmon Lodge, which put roofs over our heads and sponsored the lunch, wonderfully prepared as always by Dan and Kathy Burnside, Scott Fly Rods, Peaks Coffee Company, Second Bend Outfitters, and Sound Source.

Our raffle benefiting the local chapter of The Mayfly Project was a big success. Shout-out to Melinda’s Fly Shop for a VERY generous suite of donations for raffle prizes, and to Far Bank representative Steve Spurgeon for donating a Redington Olympus two-hander as part of the grand prize. Together, we were able to raise thousands of dollars for these kids!
The entirety of the afternoon was spent demoing and testing equipment from our widest offering of rod and line designers EVER. Thank you to C.F. Burkheimer, NAM Products, Gael Force, J Moon Bamboo Fly Rids, Bridge Fly Lines and Douglas Rods.
